Hey guys, just installed an Asus 210 Silent Graphics Card (EN210 SILENT/DI/1GD3/V2(LP)) Into a computer for a family member.

I have tried to boot the PC but it gets stuck at the mobo splash screen and will not go any further (Z77-D3H).

Any ideas what the issue could be?

I did not want to try a bios update as it's not my PC and if all goes wrong I don't want to have to fix it.

Any ideas?

For reference, the card does not require an external power supply. I do have a GTX680 I could try in there but the PSU is only 450w and does not come with the 2 power connectors required.

Are you/ have you tried booting up on the integrated graphics?
The splash screen usually hides the system while it's doing its POST and there should be a way to dismiss it to see if an error is actually being reported.

Maybe you knocked out a hard drive cable when installing everything.

If you enter the BIOS it should tell you what it has connected to it.

With the card in are you able to get into the BIOS at all?

Maybe there is some conflict between the integrated graphics and the card itself. The BIOS might give you the option to turn the integrated graphics off. Please only do this if you can definitely get into the BIOS with the card plugged in.

Maybe test the card in another pci-e slot.

Next step is testing the card in another computer.

It definitely sounds like a conflict of sorts. Do you have the latest drivers for your motherboard and integrated graphics? Might be good to switch back t integrated graphics, update everything and then try the card again.
