Pc wont display :(

Hey all,

Not having best of times with my PC at the moment

Hard drive went the other day and got replacement yest and installed everything and all was fine, was using it last night as usual.

Today i come to boot my PC up and now i get no display on my monitor. Not a thing. I checked connections, power to both PC and monitor but all is fine, i havent changed anything since using it last.

The gfx card is a 8800gts 640mb and monitor is a Sammy 206BW, mobo is gigabyte ds3r with a E6600 and 4gb Geil ram running on Vista 64 home premium.

Any help much appreciated

edit: The gfx card fan spins on boot up but there is no display on the monitor

Do you get a POST beep? Can you hear your disk read/write as it boots into windows? I kinda doubt its a display issue

No beeps, everything powers up but cant see anything and no i dont hear disk read/write

Ok so start to fault find until you isolate the issue. Strip out everything non essential and check all your cables. Have you oc'd this? Try clear your CMOS if you have

It was OC'd but now back to stock after i reinstalled vista on new hdd. Will try fault finding when i get back home from work and will report back then, thanks.
