I've got an Asus Maximus VII Gene build.
Been using it for over a year, all of a sudden the PC won't POST or boot when turned on.
It's getting power but nothing on the screen.
Error code 71 comes up on the motherboard Q Code display, seems like that could be anything after googling.
Tried taking out the graphics card and booting using the onboard HMDI out and unplugged all HDDs and SSD.
Took all RAM our bar one stick, then switched it to another stick.
Still no luck.
Not sure what else to try. Should I try to return the motherboard to Asus to get it swapped out?
I've got a Seasonic PSU, I can't imagine the CPU died all of a sudden, I've not kept it overclocked since I bought it, although the CPU was second hand when I bought it.
