So I'm upgrading my CPU/mobo/ram combo from Intel to AMD and selling my old components, along with 2 Radeon 7850 GPUs to brother-in-law as a cheap starter build for him.
However, I've installed Windows in his new SSD without the 7850s installed. I shut down, popped the 7850s in and now it either gets stuck in a restart loop, or stays on with no video. I get video from either card or the on-board output. Since putting the cards in, I can't even remove the cards and use the on-board video now either.
It's a real bummer because I'm hoping to sort it before Xmas for him. Anyone got any ideas on how I could proceed? I've had a suggestion from a friend to reset the CMOS.
In case it's of any help, the motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H.
