pc wont power up

I have a problem with my computer, I decided to blow out dust from inside my pc yesterday
and move the hardrives as one of the sata cables was being cut into by the power plug for my graphics card. Once i put it all back together and tried to switch it on nothing happened ie.. no power i'm sure i have'nt touched anything on the motherboard and put all the connectors back in place but no joy my system specs are.
Antec 300 with basiq 55w psu, Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P motherboard, AMD Phenom II X3 tri core 720 Black edition cpu, ATI 4830 Graphics Card, Corsair XMS3 4gb DDR3 ram, Samsung spinpoint 320gb sata Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache . when pushing the power lead in firmly the fans and hdd start to spin but releasing pressure i loose power any help given would be greatly appreciated
