PC Won't recognise VGA, only DVI

My monitor has a DVI and VGA slot, but when i use the VGA i get no picture (Unless i turn the comp of, then a picture shows saying "Shutting down" My motherboard has integrated graphics, does this have anything to do with it?

I had a similar issue with a Dell USFF PC, so I just ended up using a DVI monitor. Frankly I'd always pick DVI over VGA, so this shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Yeh, DVI works...My only worry is, i will be hooking a Wii into the VGA. I just hope it works for that..
