PC wont start up

well it starts but the screen stays black and after a while the PC does loads of beeps..i installed a bios update today do you think that is the problem

Did you manage to get the pc to boot after the BIOS update or was it update shut down the pc, then restarted the pc later.

If you look in mobo manual or go to manufacturers website it will tell you the beep codes which will tell you what is wrong. But yeah if it hasnt booted since the bios flash prob that

i didnt have to restart after the bios update

Have you tried a CMOS reset.

try removing the battery for 10 mins and then insert and try again.
If not which make mobo is it?
