It seems again vista 64 being anoying and refusing to work on pc.:(

I unable to start pc properly without getting a message

Windos vista 64 is missile a file or is corrupt fils is

WDFLDR.SYS

Status: 0X.C00000E9

It then says insert vista 64 disc into drive reboot then click repair.

i have put disc into pc then rebooted but nothin happens i dont think pc is starting via the DVD drive.

I beleive this is due to it being changed due to a issue with SP2 and the DVD drive not working with it so having to stop ti starting via the DVD drive.

any help needed as microsoft support is ..afk big time and not bothering to help.

You may need to go into your BIOS settings and configure the disc drive to be top of the boot priority list.

Beyond that I'd want to check the hard drive as it might be the underlying cause if this is a recurring thing.

HDD is fine, the reson why my dvd isnt top is due to what i recall was a error with DVD not being compactable with vista SP2 so had to move it down.thus unable to use repair disc first.

Is there a way to access window repair disc without having to use /change boot priority? ie like a normal disc access

As long as the DVD drive is working, it doesn't matter what version of Windows you are running. You could take the hard disk out completely and still boot from the disc.
