Hey all,

Built the computer today and it refuses to start. The blue light comes on where the battery icon is near the power button but wont start up. The case came with a speaker cable for the mobo but I can't find anywhere to put it.

I tried moving the front panel cables around but nothing works apart from the battery icon light.

As a sidenote there is a cable on the top panel which is attached to the top (sheet?) I have no clue what it is and google has yeiled no results. If anyone knows what it is that would be great.

Any help would be great, thank you.

Do you have the 4pin power connector near the CPU plugged in?

Speaker goes here,

Looking at your picture, have you got the powerLED connector in the right pins?

LOL wtf?!

Thanks Stulid I did check that when I first started I guess I was working myself up over matching the colours. Again thanks.

Any clue on what that cable is?

The cable looks like a grounding cable for the front panel circuit board.
What does the other end of the cable look like?

A flat loop which is screwed onto a flat metal surface.

I looked on youtube for the case and the wire isn't there.

Attach your case speakers based on the correct positions and then report if any beeps occur when you turn it on.

Also worth checking the wires go all the way up to the switch and don't need connecting or anything.
