Pc won't start

Hey guys!

So I recently built my pc and have been using it for about a week, only today though; as I was playing saints row 4, it completely powered off with the monitor alerting me the loss of display input. I went ahead and try to start up the pc from the power button but nothing came on. I then flicked the power switch at the back off and on again of hoping this could help it, however it didn't. I noticed though, that all the USB ports were receiving power(mouse and keyboard as well as speakers were lit).

Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

Gonna have to try that when I get home, but am I gonna have to purchase an additional fan? Or could I use existing ones like the case or cpu, and would I also need a molex adapter then?
 
There is power getting to the keyboard, mouse and speakers, but no fans working, correct?
If there is no signal to the monitor, it does`nt mean the system has`nt powered up.
Take the side panel of the case and check mobo for any red led lights flashing.
You could try connecting monitor to the mobo.
 
Yes there is power getting to the keyboard, mouse and speakers as if the pc was in a shutdown state. To be more precise, it's as if the power button doesn't respond when I press it.
I would like to also add that this has occurred before(seemed to fix itself when I flicked the power switch at the back off and on again) when I was sharing my screen via Skype whilst playing Sleeping dogs at the same time. Could this possibly indicate a problem with my graphics card?
I will post results of the PSU test as soon as I get home and do it.
 
So I just got home and turned on the power switch at the back of the pc after leaving it off for the whole day, and to my surprise the pc actually started up. However it said something about a corrupted bios; "the main BIOS is corrupted. The system will be recovered from the backup BIOS. Please DO NOT turn off power or reset system. This may take few minutes.", and proceeded to update the main BIOS. After this was complete, everything started up normally and I'm now able to use my pc again.

Any idea what could have happened and what I should do to prevent it?
 
Though it seemed it fixed itself, it was only short lived because it won't start again. I also don't think I'm able to do the psu test because I don't have an adapter atm to hook up the system fan to the psu.
Now that I've taken off the side panel I'm able to see the fans start up for about 1 second and stops again, this is after I pressed the power button. This doesn't happen every time though, only when I flick the power switch at the back of the pc off and on again.
 
Okay so after following the YouTube video, the fan on the power supply doesn't spin, does this mean I have a faulty power supply?
 
Okay I am now extremely confused, I have done the psu test a couple of times just to make sure and I now have three different results. Either the fan doesn't spin, the fan spins for a while and then stops, or it successfully stays spinning.
