So I bought a case and an itx motherboard second hand so that I can fit my PC into a smaller unit out of the way.
CPU worked fine in my old motherboard so I'm thinking either my motherboard is faulty and doesn't work or I'm missconnecting the wires somewhere or something more simple maybe?
When I power the PC without connecting the 12v pins the fans spin but it makes no sound whatsoever and it doesn't output anything to a monitor from either output (HDMI onboard and seperate GPU). However once I plug in the 12v pins (I thought this was the issue) then the fans don't come on at all and I get no response from the computer.
I'm completely stumped and just want the PC to work now.
