When I turn on my pc it won’t turn on have also tried using screwdriver to short it and it still doesn’t turn on
I have been using the same pc parts for a while and have just changed to a different case And it won’t workI take it was working beforehand, can you elaborate some more?
Yep have tried all of thatOK so you swapped something out.
Have you connected the IO pins from the case to the panel connector correctly?
Check power lead is seated, if possible use another one.
Check PSU switch is on.
Check fuse in the plug.
Check your wall socket is on.
Nope nothing happensDisconnect everything except for cpu (but obviously the power lead and PSU on).
i.e. RAM is removed, GPU removed, no disks.
Does it start up or hear any beeps/LED codes?
No fan doesn’t turn on and no lightsAny of the LEDs on the mobo blink or does the CPU fan or case fan speed up ?
No I don’t but I don’t think it’s that because there is a light on my gpu when it is in meaning there is some power coming to itDead PSU? Do you have access to another just to try rule it out.
I might try that tommorow as it is quite late nowI would remove the mobo and reseat it. Could be a short and you need to find it, temporary place it on a cardboard box outside the case to test.
They are both plugged in I think it might be an issue with the front panel connectors not workingThen sounds like the mobo isnt getting power. Are you definitely sure you have powered the mobo correctly from the PSU ? Normally there are 2 connectors. 24 pin ATX and another 8 pin ATX_12V.
