My Grandad called me about his computer not being able to wake up from sleep mode, but to be frank, I don't really know what is up with it.
After selecting sleep mode from the start menu, the monitor goes off, but the PC doesn't seem any different; all the fans stay at their normal speeds. When trying to wake up from sleep using the mouse/keyboard nothing happens and so you are forced to turn off the computer via the power button.
It is quite an old computer that he got custom built about 5 years ago I believe, and has recently had the OS upgraded to Windows 7 but specs are as follows:
Intel Pentium D 925 @ 3.00GHz
Gigabyte 945GCM-S2L
4GB (2 x 2GB) Crucial PC2-5300 DDR2
NVIDIA GeForce 7300
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
