Sorry, doing this on my phone so will to be brief.

I put in my brand new msi 4gb 270 yesterday. Fired pc up, on first few attempts all I got was a screen full of multi coloured sprinkles you'd put on icecream.

After making sure I had all my leads back in tried again... All that happening is all the fans fire up on pc, the graphics cards fans spin although not at top speed, but pc won't even start up, green light shows on motherboard. Dunno what I'm doing wrong.

My cousin is in my sig so should be good enough ( I think). Any suggestions?

Do you have the power connected to the Graphics card ?, otherwise id take it out and try another card or onboard grahipcs to make sure it isn't some thing else.

Can you get into bios ?, do you have bios set to boot off onboard graphics ?, if you cant get into bios try a bios reset.

Pci-e power connectors are both in graphics card. Mobo won't boot at all atm, but power going through. Don't have a spare or to try.

I had tried taking the power to the graphics card out, and pc did start up. But after reconnecting to cards andswapping around that method won't work now on reattemping

I was going to take whole pc down shop to put in new case anyway as I can't to complete builds. I'll get him to look at it.
