PC World's Top 10 Antivirus Software

Norton is number 5, anything that has norton as number 5 is a useless list imo :p

I'n the last 3 years I have gone, Kaspersky > Nod32 back to Kaspersky
 
They probably just didn't include them in the test. Thats the only explanation i've got!

I use Panda IS 2006. It's actually pretty decent.
 
When they said for nortons "Performance: Good" I wonder exactly what they mean by that. Friend had it installed and his Pc almost ground to a hault, it found a virus but couldn't fix it as well as scans takeing 30+mins. Installed the free AVG system got 90% faster found the virus and sorted it out and the scan only took 9mins.

As somone else said, PC World...says it all.

:) just remove real-time protection. It's *** I do, but I have to say I've never had any issues with boot times using an AV over a fresh install, granted it might be a couple of seconds slower but its not much
