Could someone please enlighten me?
I am about to purchase a E6700 and notice the FSB is 1066Mhz. Looking at most peoples signatures that have this or the E6600 chip, the majority of people are running PC2-6400 RAM which runs at 800Mhz FSB!
As this is not synchronous surely there is a performance hit and would it not be advisable to purchase PC2-8000 RAM which runs at 1066Mhz FSB
Any comments would be appreciated.
