PC4000 in a PC3200 motherboard?

Is this possible? as my friend wants to buy some OCZ DDR 4000 RAM but he has a mobo which can only support up to PC3200. The RAM is 184 pin, so it would fit, but the question is WILL IT WORK?

All motherboards support up to 3200+ The 4000+ means that you can overclock higher without putting any memory deviders to go futher on the FSB.

There's also the benefit that the timings @3200 will be tighter for PC4000 memory.

Highly unlikely, high freq ram will have higher latencies at 200mhz than low freq ram at 200mhz
