pc5300 to 8500?

Hi, am building a new system:

Q6600
EP43 DS3L Board
HD3870 512mb GDDR4
2 HDDs

Is it worth upgrading my ram from 5300 to 8500? I have 2gig 5300 at the moment.

Not really tbh.

Something like the OCZ PC2-6400 would be a nice upgrade, tho you probably wouldn't notice much difference.

If the 5300 doesnt limit you on OCing ( does it clock to 400-450fsb? ) then just stick with it.

If not, then get some PC6400 C4 and that should be enough. Get 8000-8500 if you plan to buy E8500/E8600 in the future and get some crazy clocks on it.
