These are just my thoughts. No idea if GeIL's 8 layer PCB is marketing or not.
I thought it was meant to aid in cooler running, as less traces are sandwiched between each layer. And that's why no heatsinks are fitted, unless you get the Evo One variaty which still uses the 8 layer PCB.
Also extra layers can reduces interference, but that will be an issue anyway.
As I won't be overlocking the memory, and can't provide much voltage to lower timings, I'm looking at other unique features. And 8 layer PCB seemed more relivent than heatsinks. That's if the above points are correct.
