Hi folks.
Ok, I have an Xclio Greatpower 650w PSU. It only comes with one connector for PCI which is a split 6 pin double cable. I currently have a 6850, so one 6 pin cable is hanging loose.
With the current deals on the 7950's I'm desperate to pick one up, but concerned my PSU won't be able to handle it, even although I know it has the power capacity.
Can I just plug both 6 pins in and it'll all work fine? From the reading I've done it's not clear. It sounds like the 8 pins just have 2 extra ground wires.
What about plugging one of these into one end of the cable:

Would it do the job and allow me to use the 6 pin and 8 pin no problems?
Thanks
