Hi
Recently bought a Netgear wireless N pci card and have hit a problem with it. Basically installing it in the pc will case the system to not post. Turning it on will see the power button turn amber instead of green, and there will be no display output at all.
Removing the card makes the system work fine again. Tested the netgear card in another pc and it does work ok. Also tried another pci card, a tv tuner, in the problem pc and that works.
So it seems that both the netgear card and the pc are both fine individually, but not when working together.
It's a small form factor pc I'm trying to use so only the one pci slot available.
Any suggestions? I tried contacting netgear by email and got asked to send more info back like the processor type, windows version and if the router was on, not that I can see how any of that matters in this case.
Thanks.
