I have just re-installed WIndows on a machine and updated drivers, but there is something in Device Manager just callled "PCI device". I have installed everything thats in the PCI slots and all is working fine, but still something listed as PCI device.

Any ideas what it could be?

Didn't somebody find a program a while back that found out what it was that e.g. hadn't had drivers installed. I have a few things on my computer that for the life of me I can't figure out they are..

I got this aswell when i boot up, its bloody annoying :) I never installed Onboard sound because i installed my X-FI instead.

Disable your onboard sound in the bios then :)

To the OP...Make sure everything you have is installed...if you have a sound card...but onboard sound for example, disable the sound in the bios, as its unneeded...

As well as things like Infared ports on your motherboard.

Btw...what motherboard you got?
