Hi guys,
Just about to get my new mobo tomorrow (Abit IP35 Pro) which is cool, but I want to now get a new graphics card.
I was thinking about getting an 8800GT or 8800GTS (G92)and as you know these are PCI-E 2.0 spec but mobo can only run 1.1, now I know the graphics card is able to run on the older slot but what I want to know is will I lose any of the graphics cards speed/ability/frame rates etc by using the slower mobo, or is PCI-E 1.1 still more than the 8800GT or 8800GTS can handle?
Thanks all,
Peace
