Yes it will do pci express , what is your board and what are you trying to do with it?
Sure. This PC is now for basic general use and not for Gaming. I am confused as the MB is PCIe x 16 and this card spec on *** another site *** says PCIe@wizard links to competitors websites are not permitted on the forum, I would suggest removing it.
That board and card will fit perfectly.
The board is high end and the card is kinda low end though, which is an unusual combination.
PCIe x 16 means it has 16 lanes for the bus.PCIe x16 slots are associated with graphics cards (GPUs) and provide the highest bandwidth available on a standard consumer motherboard. High-end gaming, content creation, and workstation systems often feature PCIe x16 slots for powerful graphics processing.
No the card is a full size pci express and uses PCIe ×8, your board can take up to PCIe x16, so you’re good to go.
I never used that card but should be fine for general use and video streaming and some light video editing.
Graphics has been PCI-Express for over a decade, maybe even two, I can't remember.
Pretty much all cards you can buy new right now are PCI-E 4.0, the same as your board.
In other words, it is very unlikely to matter.
Card arrived and working great! The PC has gone absolutely quiet! Thanks.Ah, that should be fine.
