PCI-E Converters??

Hi all

I am doing a buld for a friend, my old PSU was shot so I got a new one, problem is it has a 8 pin pci-e and the graphics card I have has a 6 pin socket! Is there such a thing as a converter? I have had a Google but no banana :|

The 2 extra pins should unclip from lead same as the 4 extra pins on the 24pin can.

Are you sure its 8-pin PCI-E, it could be a mobo connector. Anyway, you can get one that converts from a 4-pin moles.

Sometimes comes with the gfx card. I know my 8800 did. Ask in MM, theres bound to be people who have one or 2 spare.
