PCI-E Graphics card power question.

Hi, you know the pwoer lead to the PCI-E graphics card, you know how one end has two molex's, do you have to hook them both up or will one do?
 
I don't have a PCI-E card myself but I'm pretty sure you need both plugged in, it isn't designed as a pass-through adapter(to give you an extra molex or anything like that) so both are required to supply enough stable power to the graphics card.
