Hi.

I've got a cheapo AM4 Gigabyte A320 board and I'm finding that when I put the graphics card into the slot it does not click into place. Should all PCI-E slots click-in?

So I booted it and tried to install windows 10 but the driver installation kept failing and then it BSOD'ed constantly. Even the BIOS locked up and corrupted. I removed it and went back to the integrated graphics and all was good.

Do you think the card is broke or should I use more force and see it it slots in better? The card worked fine a few months ago and it's just been sat on a shelf in the mean time. It's an old card (r7 260x).

Shoild lock into place and need to release it with the clip, does it just slide back out ?

The r7 260x is old and it mite be a compatabilty issiue due to the card needing to run in legacy mode which may need to be enabled in the bios.

Yeah the clip is secure, it just didn't click when you push her in. I don't think it needs legacy as I'm sure it's got an uefi bios but I'll double check anyway.
