PCI-e Overclock

Hi All,

I wish what is a safe maximum for overclocking the pci-e bus before things get risky.
I ask as i have one of the freaky ASUS p5b-vm motherboards and increse of the FSB has to be matched by an increse of the PCI-e bus. So far i have the FSB at 303MHZ and the PCI-e bus at 111MHZ giving me a not too bad 18.884 second super pi with the E6600 running at 2726MHZ
Im sure i can get more out of it if i just increse the PCI-e bus a bit more but im unsure how far i can go.

Also how possible it it to volt mod the motherboard to increase the memory voltage. At the moment im having to run a divider on it presumably because i cant give it enough juice. The motherboard tops out at 1.95v and my memory is rated at 2.1v. So far i feel the motherboard has been wasting the optential of my conroe 6600 and gskill 6400HZ not to mention the watercooliong :(

Any tips or advice in getting more out of my rig greatly appreciated

Hi thanks for the replys, the problem is that the pci-e lock doesnt actually work on this board i can set it at 100 but i then can only raise the fsb a few MGHz. I have to increase the PCI-e bus to increase the fsb a worthwhile amount.

Unfortuneately it seems asus isnt going to fix the pci-e lock issue

So looks like im stuck at 2.7 unless i want to risk upping the pci-e - or get a decent matx board if one ever comes out.
