Does the Sapphire 1950XT need a PCI-E power adaptor, as I have an older 550W PSU which only has the standard molex connectors?

Must admit I'm not very up on PSUs... My current one wasn't amazingly expensive for the output (about £50 if I remember correctly), I have a nasty feeling that you're going to say it won't cut it!!

Tell me the rating and combined wattage fer the +12v rail(s) and I'll tell you if I think it is good enough for yer rig :)

Perhaps an X1950Pro is a better choice, if you have a PSU with a lower spec 12v+ rating as they require a fair bit less power, but still offer lots of performance.
