PCI-E Socket issue

I bought an MSI Z97 Mpower MAX AC from another retailer about 9 months ago, since then the second socket died for some reason, so i resorted to using the first and third socket.

Then today when I was re-organising my case which involved take the second card out of the third slot, when the pressed the clip on the back of the socket to release the card and pulled like you normally would, the socket came away with the card.

What should I do?

EDIT: The first slot still functions fine.

I'd be contacting the retailer you got it from an explain it to them.

MSI say the following on their site

In accordance with original manufacturer's products serial number/barcode, it is warranted for 12 months repair service from its manufacture date.
