Do you mean PCI or PCI-E? They're different connections, though for all intents and purposes in this context, the adapters are going to be very similar.
They are different, depending on your motherboard you might only have PCI and not PCI-E. PCI-E is newer and technically better, but with wireless cards it doesn't make much difference.
What do you use the connection for?
Looks like that router is wireless b/g and not that amazing - BT business standard issue perhaps?
You'd be wasting your time buying a wireless n adapter unless you plan to upgrade your router at some point soon.
This is the only PCI wireless g adapter OcUK stock, got a choice of aerial placement too, sounds like it'd be just fine.
This is the wireless n version, which is backwards compatible with g.
As said, you could also go USB, which would give more choice, but I see nothing wrong with those cards.
Be warned if you happen to have Vista 64bit with 4Gb ram, this card will cause constant freeze-ups. I tried adding it in the review section on the details page buy Ocuk refused the review, obviously it would affect some sales but surely I feel it's better to inform potential buyers of this problem.
I'll let you know when I install it in the morning, I went back to my old 54Mbps one, just bought W7, fresh install, will put the card in the morning and see if it works ok.
Right, installed the edimax last night, left it downloading my entire steam catalogue overnight, didn't freeze up once, cleared 48GB overnight with no problem so i'd recommend it
