Hi,
I notice all the Asus P8P67 mobo's say they support crossfire, but what would the difference be between a system with x1 ati 5850 card in it to a system with x2 at 5850 cards in, running firstly using
x1 PCI Express x16 slot (x16), x1 PCI Express x16 slot (x4)
and secondly using
x2 PCI Express x16 slots (x16),
I appreciate if running 2 cards, the x2 PCI express x16 would be the way to go, but is there a noticable perfomance increase with the system running one at x16 and the other at x4 over a single card?
cheers
