hi, just a quick question guys. havin trouble with my rig, think it might be my soft settings in the bios set wrong. Would the PCI express frequency be the frequency my graphics card runs at? dont wanna change it without being sure.
its an 8800GT
GeForce 8800 GT core running at 600MHz
- Shader Clock Speed of 1500MHz
- 512MB GDDR3 Memory running at 1800MHz

currently its set at 100mhz. but should i change it to one of the figures above?

the problem relates to running crysis. it just crashes either on loading or during play every 5 or 10mins. im exlporing the option that its a faulty ram socket but wondered if this was another possible solution?
cheers guys

call of duty 4 runs fine, smooth and full specs. it crashed without warning once but i think its not related.
I'm not overclocking, but im thinking about it soon. cranking up my CPU by a ghz or so. full specs are:-
dual core e2180 2ghz
2gb geil ddr2 ram
8800gt

Do you guys think it could be a faulty disc? there were problems on install as well, had to copy all the files onto hard disc and install from there as when installing from the disc it said some were missing. also it wont let me repair the installation, just goes non responsive. by the way the error message when crysis crashes is crysis.exe. ive read a few forums with people having similiar problems.

so it seems likely problem is either :- game needs patch, faulty disc, or ram problem?

and finally can you tell me how to do those stress tests?
many thanks
