Started a thread on the graphics forum about this problem im having. I recently bought a 7970 windforce and installed it onto a gigabyte z77 d3h - the card was not running as it should posting very low scores and one of the possibilities is that GPUz reports that the 16x PCI express slot is running at v1.1 - obviously its capable of running at 3.0. Im trying to figure out how to make that happen but this is way outside my territory. Bios is F8 21/2/2012 so i really cant see how that would not already incorporate 3.0? Or am i missing something totally obvious...
