pci fan controller

Hi,

I need a fan controller to lower the noise of 2-3 fans but i don't really want to waste a drive bay on it. can anyone recommend a pci fan controller that will control the temp of 2-3 fans?

Which is better a dial or a switch? does the dial give you more than the 3 settings a switch would?

dial gives more settings than a standard tree way switch. fan controllers are just rheostats with an appropriate resistor. TBH getting a PCI version is a waste of a slot.
