Afternoon all,
Probably a daft question, but, in the name of saving some cable clutter, could I possibly run two graphics cards from a single cable form the psu?
In my case, I'm using a Seasonic X-series 850w Gold PSU, and the PCI power cables all terminate in 2x 6+2 pin connectors, and on Monday, I have a pair of 970 Strixs incoming; which only require one 8 pin connector each.
Would it be too much for a single cable? My PSU has a single 12v rail, and can deliver almost all of its rated wattage on it, upto 70 amps.
