PCI graphics card in PCIe motherboard

Hi Guys

Would this work: PCI graphics card in a PCIe motherboard?

The mobo has 3 PCI slots but would the machine boot with just a PCI gfx card in it or would it go searching the PCIe bus for the video device?

It should work without issue. If it doesn't blame your motherboard's manufacturer for making a dodgy product.

You should have the option to start with the PCI graphics card in the bios.

As long as you haven't got a pcie card installed then it should still boot even with the "boot from pcie" option enabled in the bios. My p5k and p5b deluxe do anyway.
