Hey so basically moved rooms in my house and need to setup my PC to receive wireless, I have seen that OCuk has a few PCI but nothing above 20 quid... or are wireless USB just as good or better?

Thanks

Will you be gaming online on it?
If so then you may want to consider homeplugs if signal strength might be a problem or you need a decent ping

This. I used to game with a wireless connection - didn't have homeplugs but ping was affected at times when even closing a door :P

Only downside is that the homeplugs need their own socket at either end (ie cant be put in a powerbar)

Using old 85meg ones myself and no difference in ping compared to being plugged in to router
They work fine as long as you dont live in a really old house with ye olde wiring as i found out with a cusutomer once.

Yes they can.
My homeplugs are both connected to plain multi socket extensions. However I've not tried them in filtered extensions.

Just got some Netgear homeplugs. They are fantastic, up and running in the amount of time it took to plug them in. Would definately reccommend.
