Good evening all,
I am having a little trouble with my pc. everytime i try and use a pci card with my computer it simply wont recognise it. I have tried various devices and all 3 slots but its always the same.
I have just bought an audigy 4 sound card which wont even turn up in the device manager and whilst trying to install the drivers it says it cant detect the device. I have tried the card in a friends computer and it worked just fine. I have updated all the firmware i can think of (including the BIOS) and im at a loss as to whats causing the problem.
My system is as follows:
asus p5nd2-sli deluxe mobo
pentium d920
1gig corsair RAM
3x 200gig HDD's
xfx geforce 6800xt 512mb
any ideas what i can do?
is there anything i can try to make it work?
