PCI Wireless Problem

I have vista 64 bit have installed all the latest drivers but i can only connect to the wireless router but that wont connect to the internet.It works on my laptop but not on this one any ideas?

Whats the signal like? I had a pci card but it struggled to keep a connection (big metal box infront of receiver!), where as my laptop sat pratically ontop of it was fine. So got a usb adapter that sits out the front and no probs!
