So, I've got a tonne of PCI-X adaptecs knocking around, and a few LTO3 drives at work, and I want to do a rejig with my storage at home, I've got a TB of storage to shift onto a planned 3TB RAID5 array, but, how to get my data onto there? I though of using a LTO3 to back it up onto, then restoring it. But would the adaptec work in a PCI slot? I know it'd be slower, but it'd do what I need it to do.
