PCIe 1 v PCIe2.

I'm getting a replacement motherboard as my 775 board died recently. The replacement I'll be getting is PCIe 1, the card I'll be using is a GTX260.

Would there be any performance difference between pcie 1 and pcie 2?

There will be but it won't make that much of a difference...Maybe a couple of FPS but very minimal.

Hmm, not sure if I should wait out for a PCI-e 2.0 mobo instead. What do you think, is it worth it?

Considering it's a 775 board, not really. Just go with the replacement.

Hopefully this other board won't give me any issues.

I was curious about the PCIe slots because it'll be getting used for some light gaming (TF2, MC, etc)
