PCIe 2.0 Mainboards ?

are there already any mainboards with pcie2.0 available ? when will they come out ? my cousin was about to upgrade his system but i told him to wait until there is a range of mainboards with pcie2.0 availabe.

All the X38 boards support PCIE 2.0. That's about it at the moment. Nvidia have bodged together their 680i chipset and a PCIE 2 bridge to make 780i, whilst on the AMD side of things AMD are just away to release their 790 chipset with the iminent arrival of Phenom.

wow they are far away from being cheap. i think i'll order one of the oldschool p35 boards.
