Hi All

Usually when a gpu has two power connectors, i run two cables from the psu. The cables usually have two plugs on, one linked from the other, so the other ones just sit there looking untidy, but its how ive always done it.

I bought a pc from a friend and he had run one cable from the psu, and plugged both connectors into the two sockets on the GPU. He has lost the remaining power supply cables.

So should i source another cable for the psu? Corsair RM650, or just use the one cable? It seems to be working fine. The GPU is a Vega 64, but that is subject to change.

What do you do?

Cheers

Thanks guys

Ive done it, as it seemed like the logical thing to do. I had one of the early corsair HX power supplies that claimed three 12v rails... turns out it was only two when the proper reviews came out. They didnt tell you what was connected to which rail anyway, so wasnt much help. I'll see if i can track down the right cable. Custom cables seem pretty pricey.

I'll try and find that vega thread too, sounds like a good read.

Cheers

Thanks
