PCIe Network Card in PCI slot?

Alright cheers guys. Thought it was a bit hopeful.

I think there is a PCIe slot free but not sure if the graphics card cooler is blocking it. The current Wireless card is pretty old and i was looking to upgrade in the hope of one with multiple antenna in the hope of better signal.

You can get a ribbon cable extender for PCIe if you dont have the room for the whole card, whether or not you got another slot the card could fit in im not too sure.

Startech to a convertor that will allow you to install a PCI-E card in a PCI slot. I think the cost would be prohibitive just for a network card though.

At the moment i've got a graphics card in the main PCIe slot and a wireless card in the PCI slot. With the 2 smaller PCIe slots in the middle.

Fingers crossed i'll be able to squeeze the above card into one of the slots without the graphics card cooler blocking it.

The lighter blue ones in the middle are PCI, the darker blue are PCI-E. PCI-E x4 on the left, PCI-E x16 on the right.

That card you linked in the OP will work in the x4 slot and should give you plenty of space for your GPU. :)
