Hello Everyone,

I am about to upgrade my 11 year old desktop pc to something new.

The question is will the following work together:
  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Six Core 4.2GHz
  • Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus (AMD AM4) B550 ATX Motherboard
  • Corsair Force MP600 series 500GB NVMe PCIe Gen4 M.2 Solid State Drive
  • Asus GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER TUF OC 4096MB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Will the PCIe V3 graphics card work with the M2 PCIe V4 storage device?

Should I stick with PCIe V3 M2 storage

Regards Steve

A PCIE v4 NVME drive will give you a considerable boost in IO but scant improvement in games. With only a 1650 I'm guessing your primary interest is real work and not games.

Thank you everyone,

I do not plan on playing any games, other than LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, office 365 home edition with a bit of Adobe Lightroom and Kindle app. Ultimately I plan to run CML personal edition on this PC and CML need 6 vCPU and 24 G-Ram.

No overclocking, I just want a pc that will last another 11 years.

Regards Steve
