PCIe WIFI or Mobo WIFI

My internet speed is roughly 100mbps and I'm using a TL-WDN4800 quite old tp link pcie wifi card.

I'm going to be jumping on a new build soon moving to either a b550 or x570, I'm looking at a board with wifi considering they use WIFI 6 and my card is currently WIFI 4 I believe.

Would there be any noticeable difference for the price?

Only if your new router/access point is WiFi 6 as well.

I might look into a replacement router for my virgin superhub then to bring them both up to speed. I'm still only on a 100mbps plan atm, sadly there doesn't seem to be much competition in my area with BT only offering up to 50mbps.

Any recommendations router wise that won't break the bank? If it would make a significant difference

If you’re only on 100Mbps then even 2.4GHz WLAN will give you full-speed internet transfers. Unless you’ve got an issue with your WLAN now, I’d leave it as it is.

As above, unless you have a specific reason (e.g. transferring files to a NAS or similar), then no issue with keeping the card you have.

That said if you do still want to upgrade, I'd always go for a dedicated card with external antenna, rather than using onboard Wifi.
