PCMCIA Laptop Card HDMI

i have a problem
got myself a cheap tv from tesco thinking great i can wach tv from my laptop
but no its not that simple is it

laptop has 1X s vidio out and tv has hdmi, scart and thats about it
got a scart adaptor that has s vidio on it pluged it in got picture and sound but it is black and white

any help guys thanks Ben

VGA -s an analog signal were as HDMI is digital, you would need a VGA - HDMI signal converter box - Cheapest one on FleaBay is around 60 Quid

Do a search "PC to TV Box" or "VGA to Scart" ?

Will come up with lots of hits. best you will get is VGA to scart.
