Hey all,

Looking into something for work. Any idea of some decent makes of PCMCIA adapters for desktop PCs? Any recommendations?

Thanks

I imagine they all use the same chip so it shouldn't matter who makes the card.

I would just grab the cheapest one off ebay myself, can't see that theres much to go wrong.

you do need to check if anything you buy takes pcmcia and pcard cards

strictly speaking pcmcia is an older format, whilst pccard cards are similar
the 'bumps' on their connector prevent them fitting in incompatible pcmcia slots

Do these adaptors have a reputation for being dodgy then? I thought they would be very simple things.
