I've got Unbuntu installed on an old Laptop which i want to use for basic email and internet use but need to get a wifi card to use with it. My knowledge of linux is almost non existant so i'm looking for a card that will be easy to set up ideally in Unbuntu but happy to use another distro. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I didn't post this in the network forum as i imagined most people in there use windows only.

There are many cards that work natively without ndiswrapper. E.g. If you can find one using the Atheros chipset it should do.

Cisco Aironet's are well supported too, I bought one from an auction site for £8 and it works flawlessly with whatever distro I use.
